As part of the HWN, Mind in Haringey provides a programme of wellbeing activities that are designed to help you build confidence, improve your social skills, and help you to feel less isolated. The workshops can encourage members to form friendships and develop new interests in a relaxed and informal setting.
I suffer with depression, and have lost so much with my family. Since I have been attending activities it has helped me to cope, without it, I don’t know where I would be, especially without the support and care around me. I have also made good friends here, and they actually understand me and each other.
Whilst it is free of charge to attend any of the activities on our programme, we do not offer a drop-in service and ask that you kindly register with the HWN in advance of accessing the services. We have a friendly team of staff and group facilitators on hand to assist members with accessing our services.
The wellbeing centre operates from Monday to Friday and offers a range of activities such as gardening, walking for health, Yoga, and relaxation amongst others. With useful feedback from our members, we often introduce new activities to the timetable. Check back regularly to ensure your activity is running at the same time and day.
You can find the most up to date activities schedule in the calendar to the right, and on the homepage.
