Mind in Haringey is governed by a board of volunteer trustees who all bring extensive knowledge and experience to the organisation. Our trustees ensure that we are working within our mission and values at all times and that the targets we set strive to achieve our vision.
I am a management consultant by profession, and having retired in 2020, now balance part time work with other interests including playing guitar, and travel. My wife is a practising psychoanalyst and we live in Highgate – our adult children having left home.
I have been engaged with mental health causes for a long time, including previously as chair of Lambeth and Southwark Mind. I’m really excited to join Mind in Haringey as it’s local, and you offer such an impressive range and depth of services. I very much hope that as a board we can support you in strengthening and extending these still further.

I’m proud to be a Black man because of the rich heritage, resilience, strength, and the power to inspire and uplift my community and future generations.
I’m a Haringey resident of over 15 years, living in Muswell Hill with my wife and two daughters. Before I retired last year, my work involved leading large-scale change initiatives within financial services organisations and I now sit on two trustee boards and do some consulting work for charities.
I’ve experienced first-hand the impact that mental health can have on individuals and families, and so I’m excited to be part of the Mind in Haringey team and to do what I can to ensure that we are able to provide the support needed by anyone with mental health problems in the local area.
I am 36 born in the midlands and have lived in London for 16 years. Based in Tower Hamlets I lived in Tottenham for many years and Enfield. Openly queer I am an active part of the LGBTQ+ community and involved in tackling issues that continue to affect our communities.
My day job in data, technology, experience strategy, behavioural science, performance marketing and consulting should help accelerate our growth and strike the right balance of services delivered assisted by technology.
Living with registered neurodiversities and an unseen physical disability myself, I hope to bring my lived experience of mental health and the plethora of issues as a multi-service user.
I look forward to meeting you all, sharing yours and national Mind’s determination to speak out and drive positive change across London.
I’m a civil servant working on mental health policy in the Department of Health and Social Care. I was a resident of Haringey for 8 years before moving 3 years ago to neighbouring Borough of Enfield, where I live with my partner and 2 young daughters.
I am passionate about improving mental health and particularly addressing longstanding inequalities in outcomes and experience. I am so excited to be a trustee for Mind in Haringey to learn more about the invaluable work of the local voluntary sector and to play a role in your ambition to provide positive support for people of all backgrounds and generations.
Hi there, my name is Ad and I am honoured to serve as a member of the Board of Trustees for Mind in Haringey.
I live in Haringey and work as a GP in Enfield.
In both my personal and professional lives I have seen this amazing charity fill many gaps left by overstretched and underfunded NHS services, providing a lifeline to some of the most vulnerable people in our borough.
I look forward to working with the Board, Mind In Haringey team and service users to build on the incredible work already being done.
I’m really excited to work with Mind in Haringey and am looking forward to meeting you all.
I’m passionate about support and advocacy for mental health, having had lots of experience of the impact it can have within my family and friends. I have lived in Haringey for 20 years with my husband and two teenage daughters.
I’m an experienced trustee, and worked with Step Forward in Tower Hamlets for a number of years. My day job is in finance in the public sector.
As one of your trustees, my aim is to support you and MiH to develop your strengths and awesomeness so that you can continue to serve our local community, and ensure that MiH is sustainable over the long-term.
I am committed to promoting well-being and inclusion through my experience with sports, education, and community work.
My former players introduced me to Mind in Haringey and the amazing work you do. Rugby has been a cornerstone for me as a player and coach, using the sport as a tool for mental health and well-being.
It has been inspiring to witness the events you have hosted, the community involvement you have exhibited, and the positive impact you have made, and I am thrilled to be a part of this journey.
